satirical tale: how the prince turns into ugly toad!

As in all stories, I begin my story with "Once upon a time" ...

So there was a time in a bygone era, a young girl, innocent and silly, who crossed his path, he would become "a prince of a thousand and one nights".

was a middle-class, student, spoiled by life and his family, raised as it was at that time in respect of others and oneself.

Him, handsome "prince" from elsewhere, basking in the mystery of the unknown and the exotic, smooth talker and very charming, of course managed to "seduce" very soon this little white goose.

The family does not live a very good eye, this man came from afar, a country little known at the time and a totally different culture, away from their beloved daughter studying to take her live in his country. It took

fight, fight, "argumentative", convincing, and finally, in desperation at the lack of right-thinking people, hiding their forbidden love to live.

And what would happen happened!

The girl gave up her studies, followed her prince and they returned to settle in his country.
The prince's family, if Similarly, she also did not quite dream of the union for his only son and that cherished, accepted and welcomed the young bride with great kindness and understanding despite differences in culture.

Soon the young couple had a first child, wonder of wonders: a boy. His life became organized
, hardly in its infancy. She had grown so fast in a protected and privileged life of a young carefree student to that of a mother in a country completely unknown, unknown language, culture and religion different and compelling for them!
In addition, she had to leave his country with the bare necessities and had to face and endure, sometimes, an austere life and assisted in the beginning by her in-laws for the prince did not work.

But youth, enthusiasm, the need to cope prevailed.
She felt very lonely, however, no friends, unable to be understood properly despite his efforts to learn the language.
The prince finally found a job he liked and some well-being followed. The couple could move the tiny house belonging to parents and build a "nest" of its own.
Life became easier, even If nostalgia and lack of contact with others were sometimes very heavy!

A second child was born and our young foreign devoted herself to raising her children: she put her career ambitions of sides and cares only about her home and her children. Turning
three quarters of his time alone (her husband became a workaholic), she found herself in solitary pursuits: reading, gardening, crafts of all kinds, deepen their general knowledge in all fields through books and on television.
Her husband took the habit of not caring about anything in the house: its very long days were spent at work, many of his evenings with friends, and when we found a babysitter for outings with his wife.

Life was not smooth sailing (though the misfortunes and accidents came to the disturbing), but somehow she continued and was not unhappy, even if that life was still not a path of roses!

Time spent: the prince did not see his children grow up too absorbed in his professional duties. He then experienced health problems, and in the exercise of his functions.
Everything ends up going yet in order.

But we must believe that as in many fairy tales, a curse or an evil witch decided to harp on this couple.

The husband suddenly decided to stop all activity, with enough to live (thanks to the fortune of the deceased father), and in full prime of life was left idle.
Las ... He had no passion, no hobbies, no real interest in anything or anyone. And, gradually, insidiously, boredom was devoured.

The wife, mature woman now, had developed his own passions and even had finally decided to work out, she had devoted herself to education her children become adults who were flying their own wings.

comes into play is when the worst of curses: alcohol and bad company with its attendant anxieties, sleepless nights, verbal or physical violence ....
Life became a nightmare to manage on a daily basis. Persuasion, anger, threats, support: nothing helped and followed over ten years of galley.

Hope returned occasionally to see that situation change, then wham, "the ugly sirens from oblivion and ease rechantaient around the prince and he let himself be seduced despite promises and for his wife and children's fall was even more brutal.

Moral of this story bittersweet.
The proverb "Idleness is the mother of all evil" is a great truth. And
young damsels, filled with hope in your future life, beware, do not release your attention, fight dragons and witches that await you along the way as soon as you see or hear you coming!

And this is how a prince charming, full of qualities initially blessed by life and have almost never had to fight to get what he wanted, was transformed into ugly toad by an elixir of evil: alcohol.
