Urban birth (I was born in Liege, Belgium) ago "Few years" already ...., I, nevertheless, always loved the countryside, long walks through fields and woods of pine or hardwood forests more luxuriant.

My grandparents owned a large property in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes where as a child I spent many school holidays with my cousins.
In summer, I loved to go exploring with my grandmother or my grandfather to find the clearing where I'd full of raspberries, the undergrowth where abundant blueberries and sunken roads lined with brambles covered fleshy blackberries we stained the hands and lips ....
Fill wicker baskets that can be dismounted while clawing up the fruit to cool, was a pleasure, and we rivaled zeal to be the one who would have the basket the fullest. Then, before returning, we made a crop of wild flowers and foliage to compose bouquets ephemeral.

Revenue from these long walks sometimes 10 miles, tired but happy, my cousins and I sort Plane and our harvest so that our grandmother could prepare the delicious jams I've never found the taste!

winter, other joys awaiting us: the snow, snowball fights, looking for traces of wild animals or birds have left their footprints on the white layer covering the campaign. And sometimes wonder to see emerge, just steps away, a deer, a fox and if we were lucky a majestic deer.

Coming after my marriage settle in Tunisia, I have always lived in town but not in the center. I needed a quieter suburbs with houses in large gardens too accustomed to the green, and passionate about nature and plants, I had a green space in front of my windows, and I finally found "My shoe foot ": a small house surrounded by a large garden ....

Coming from the North, accustomed to the luxuriance of vegetation in temperate countries and very "watered" the Mediterranean countryside 'm full of surprises and wonders: new species of trees and flowers, different flavors, but also a region delightfully reminding me of my childhood Ardennes: the Kroumirie and forests of cork oaks, where I found a bit of scenery and climate of my youth.
