The exhibition gathers a selection Shared Territories contemporary artists French and Venezuelan and young photographers of the Val de Nièvre having recorded from 2008 to 2009 a series of photography course led by Maud Bigin at the Library Flixecourt. Photographs on canvas are therefore presented on the walls of the town of Flixecourt accompanied by an exhibition of French artists and sculptors to the Venezuelan media Flixecourt from October 18 to November 5, 2010.

Young photographers Val de Nièvre traveled for a year in the territory of the Val de Nièvre, attempting to put their eyes knew their everyday environment and the landscape unfolds before their eyes. This photographic project was based on a device for meetings, exchange of ideas between the participants' everyday life, their personal lives and within the city they pass through daily.

This meeting between professionals and young photographers allows recovery of the young artists and a diversity of viewpoints on how we observe our territory.

The photo exhibition on the walls of the Commune of Flixecourt opens creating a wider audience and expand the cultural space by asking ourselves on various reflections on our relationship with the territory, the relations between spaces, environment and public.

A program and posters will be distributed throughout the city for the presentation of the event.

Mr. William Hernandez, cultural director of the Region Aragua in Venezuela will attend the Salon du livre du Val de Nièvre this Sunday, October 24th at 16:00 to present proposals for cultural exchange with the Picardy region.
